Naples, FL – Per Section 101.62, Florida Statutes, the deadline for requesting an absentee ballot to be sent to a voter by mail is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008.
Voters requesting their General Election absentee ballot after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, will need to pick up the ballot at the Supervisor of Elections Office, Collier Government Center, 3301 Tamiami Trail East. Absentee ballots may be requested through Election Day by calling (239) 252-8450.
Voters are reminded that absentee ballots MUST reach the Supervisor of Elections Office no later than 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 4th. Absentee ballots received after that time are considered late and will not be counted, exceptions apply to military personnel and out-of-country voters.
