NEWS RELEASE: Pre-Election Testing of Collier County's Voting System

Naples, FL – Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, the Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office will conduct the Logic & Accuracy Test of the vote tabulation equipment. The testing, required under Florida law, is designed to check the accuracy and reliability of the voting machines for Early Voting (beginning August 9th) and the August 24th Primary Election.

The public and media are invited to attend and observe the Logic & Accuracy Testing on Tuesday at the Supervisor of Elections Office, Collier Government Complex, 3301 Tamiami Trail East.
