In accordance with Florida Statute 97.055, the registration books must be closed on the 29th day before each election and must remain closed until after that election. Once the registration books are closed, voter registration may be accepted for the purpose of subsequent elections only. To register to vote, you must complete a voter registration application form available at the Supervisor of Elections Office, driver license offices, public libraries, government satellite offices, and state agencies that provide public assistance or you may print an application form from the Supervisor of Elections Office website – www.CollierVotes.com. On-line application forms must be printed, signed, and returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office. Registered voters may also use the website – www.CollierVotes.com – to verify their voter registration status. To check your voter registration status, click on the link under the heading ‘Am I Registered,’ and follow the online instructions.
