Any registered voter may request and vote a mail/absentee ballot. If you have not requested a mail/absentee ballot for the Primary Election and want to vote by mail, you may submit your request online at www.CollierVotes.com. Click on the ‘Vote by Mail’ tab at the top of the page and follow the online instructions. Request may also be made by calling the Supervisor of Elections Office at (239) 252-8450.

To ensure voters receive their mail/absentee ballot, August 8th is the last day to request a mail/absentee ballot be sent through the mail. After August 8th, voters requesting a mail/absentee ballot will be required to pick up the ballot at the Supervisor of Elections Office. It is important to note that mail/absentee ballots are NOT forwarded and can only be delivered to the address provided to the Supervisor of Elections Office.

Once your mail/absentee ballot is completed, return the ballot in the official ballot envelope provided. Mail/absentee ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day – August 14th. Don’t forget, your signature is required on the outside of the ballot envelope and ONLY you, the register voter, may sign.

If you receive a mail/absentee ballot and decide to vote in person during Early Voting or at your assigned precinct on Election Day, you should bring your marked or unmarked mail/absentee ballot to the polls so it may be cancelled.

If you have not requested your mail/absentee ballot, enjoy the convenience of voting by mail and make your request today! For more information visit www.CollierVotes.com or contact the Supervisor of Elections Office at (239) 252-8450.
