Naples, FL – Tomorrow the Supervisor of Elections Office will mail all registered Collier County voters a new voter information card – over 168,500 in all. The new voter information card replaces all previous voter information cards which may be discarded.

Every registered voter is receiving a new voter information card as a result of the once-a-decade redistricting process and the consolidation of polling places. The new voter information card indicates each voter’s precinct number, polling location, date of birth, and other essential voting information. It is important to review the new voter information card for accuracy and to determine if your Election Day voting location has changed.

While your Election Day polling location may have changed, the time the polls are open on Election Day remains the same – 7:00 a. m. until 7:00 p.m.

However, you may find voting early more convenient then voting on Election Day. The days and hours of Early Voting are more flexible – Early Voting is offered Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning July 30th through August 11th. Best of all, you have the option of voting at any one of the seven Early Voting locations – the Supervisor of Elections Office, Everglades City Hall, Naples City Hall, Golden Gate Library, Headquarters Library, Immokalee Library or Marco Island Library.

If you would prefer to vote leisurely in your home, request a mail/absentee ballot at www.CollierVotes.com. For the cost of return postage, any registered voter may vote by mail. Just be sure your ballot is received by the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

It’s your choice – you decide which voting method is most convenient and best for you to vote in the August 14th Primary Election.
