As a closed primary state, only Florida voters who are registered Democrats or Republicans will be eligible to vote for their respective presidential candidate in the January 31st PPP Election. The Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office will be mailing registered voters a sample ballot indicating all eligible contests. Registered voters wanting to change party affiliation must do so before the registration book closing on January 3, 2012. To make a party affiliation change, a new voter registration application form is required and must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office on or before the January 3rd registration book closing date. Voter registration application forms are available at the Supervisor of Elections Office, driver license offices, public libraries, government satellite offices, recruitment offices of the armed forces, state agencies that provide public assistance, and any state agency providing service to disabled residents.
