NEWS RELEASE: The Voter Registration and Party Change Deadline for the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary Election is Today

Collier County, Fla. — February 20, 2024: The deadline to register to vote or update your party affiliation for the 2024 Presidential Preference Primary is today, February 20.

Florida is a Closed Primary State. This means that only voters who are registered members of a political party may vote for their respective party’s candidate in a Primary Election. Since the Democratic Party only has one candidate, the Republican Party will be the only party with presidential candidates on the ballot.

Citizens can register to vote or update their voter information at www.CollierVotes.gov, or may do so in person at one of the Supervisor of Elections office locations:

Main office:

Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Satellite offices:
North Collier Government Services Center - 2335 Orange Blossom Dr, Naples FL  34109
Heritage Bay Government Services Center - 15450 Collier Blvd, Naples FL  34120
Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Registered voters who need to make updates to their name and/or address are not affected by the voter registration deadline, but are encouraged to make these updates prior to Election Day to avoid any delays at the polls.
