Collier County, Fla.—September 5, 2023: Voter Services Supervisor, Kerry Black, of the Collier County Supervisor of Elections office was recently recognized as a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA). She joins over 1,400 other election professionals who have gone through the CERA program and five staff members of the Collier County Supervisor of Elections office have now obtained the CERA credential.

CERA designations are offered through the National Association of Election Officials. The certification is accredited through Auburn University and covers topics ranging from election planning and management to ethics and election laws.

Black joined the Collier County Supervisor of Elections office in 2015 and is responsible for ensuring Vote-by-Mail ballots are delivered accurately during elections. 

“We are very proud of Kerry for receiving this prestigious designation. By dedicating her time to obtaining the CERA credential, she reaffirms her unwavering commitment to the electoral process at the local, state and federal levels,” Melissa R. Blazier, Collier County Supervisor of Elections.
