PUBLIC NOTICE: Notice of Election City of Naples

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Naples will have the following offices on the ballot for the March 19, 2024, Municipal Election:

  • MAYOR | ONE SEAT | Four (4) year-term

  • CITY COUNCIL | THREE SEATS | Four (4) year-terms each

Candidates must be qualified electors and residents of the City of Naples for a period of six (6) months prior to the first day of qualifying period which was July 8, 2023. Candidates are elected at large, by the highest number of votes.

The qualifying period shall commence at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, and shall close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024. All candidates shall qualify with the City of Naples City Clerk’s Office located at Naples City Hall, 735 8th Street South, Naples, FL 34102.

Qualifying documents are now available in the City of Naples City Clerk’s Office. In accordance with F.S. 99.061 (8), the City Clerk may accept and hold qualifying papers submitted not earlier than 14 days prior to the beginning of the qualifying period, to be processed and filed during the qualifying period. 

To qualify, a candidate must pay the required qualifying fee and one percent (1%) Florida Election Assessment fee required by F.S. 99.093 for the office he/she seeks. A candidate must also file the required documents outlined by the City Clerk, together with a filing fee of $25.

POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que la Ciudad de Naples, Florida tendrá las siguientes plazas vacantes en la boleta electoral de la elección municipal del 19 de marzo de 2024:

  • ALCALDE | ONE SEAT | Plazo de (4) años  

  • CONSEJALES | THREE SEATS | Four (4) year-terms each

Los candidatos deben ser electores y residentes de la Ciudad de Naples por al menos seis (6) meses antes del primer día del periodo de cualificación que fue el pasado 8 de Julio de 2023. Los candidatos son elegidos en general, por el mayor número de votos.

El período de cualificación comenzará a las 8:00 a.m. del lunes, 8 de enero de 2024 y cerrará a las 5:00 p.m. el viernes, 19 de enero de 2024. Todos los candidatos deberán calificarse con la secretaria Municipal cuya oficina está ubicada en el Ayuntamiento de la Ciudad de Naples, 735 8th Street South, Naples, FL 34102.
