NEWS RELEASE: Election Results to be Reported Tonight at www.CollierVotes.com

Results will be updated throughout the night from precincts reporting in the 2016 General Election

Collier County, Fla.— November 8, 2016: At approximately 7:30 p.m. tonight, Election Night, the Collier County Supervisor of Elections office will post the first set of preliminary election results at www.CollierVotes.com. This initial posting will represent a combined total of results from Early Voting and Vote-by-Mail ballots.

Following the posting of the initial election results, the Supervisor of Elections office will post results from Election Day precincts approximately every 45 minutes, if not sooner. The updates will continue until the results from all precincts voting in this election have been reported.

The Supervisor of Elections home page will show election results in a graph format, displaying the total votes and percentage of votes per candidate. Several features will be available including a map that details precincts as they have reported their election results.

A link to the Florida Election Watch will also be provided on the home page for visitors to access statewide results for the General Election.

The home page will continue to display voter turnout figures, showing ballots cast (not votes tallied) until the first set of preliminary results is posted.
