Special Election planned for US Congressional District 19 

 

Collier County, FL— February 3, 2014: The Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office has received an Executive Order signed by Governor Rick Scott announcing that a Special Election will be held for US Congressional District 19 in order to replace former Congressman Trey Radel.

The Primary Election will be held on April 22, 2014 and the General Election will take place on June 24, 2014. District 19 includes coastal areas in both Lee and Collier County and 35 precincts will be active in Collier County.

In order to participate in this election, voters must be registered in Congressional District 19. The registration deadline for the Primary Election is Monday, March 24, 2014.
