Collier County, Fla.— December 13, 2023: Supervisor of Elections Melissa R. Blazier was nominated to the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) Board of Directors and was sworn in by the Secretary of State during FSE’s annual Mid-Winter Conference this week. The board of directors serve as the policy-making body of FSE and promotes programs that designate the objectives of the association.

Melissa R. Blazier was appointed as Supervisor of Elections in May of 2023 and has been employed by the elections office for over 17 years. She is an active member of the Florida Supervisors of Elections. Founded in 1964, the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) is a professional membership organization representing the Supervisors of Elections of Florida’s 67 counties. Their goal is to support fair, honest and accurate elections in the state of Florida.
