Melissa Blazier Recognized as a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator
Collier County, FL—August 20, 2013: Melissa Blazier, CERA, of Collier County’s Elections Office, was recently recognized as a Certified Elections/Registration Administrator (CERA) last week, joining approximately 800 others who have gone through the credentialing process.
CERA is offered through Election Center which is also known as the National Association of Election Officials. The certification requirements for graduation include completing course work provided through Auburn University on topics ranging from election planning and management to ethics and election laws.
Blazier has been employed with Collier’s Elections Office for approximately eight years and currently serves as the Assistant Supervisor of Elections. Her commencement was held at Election Center’s National Conference last week where she was supported by Jennifer J. Edwards, Supervisor of Elections, and some of her peers.
