Collier County, FL – This afternoon at 3:00 p.m., the Collier County Canvassing Board certified the official results of the August 14, 2012 Primary Election.
Of the 171,390 eligible Collier County voters, 48,560 or 28.3% participated in the Primary Election by casting their ballot. More details on voter turnout for the August 14th Primary Election follows.

In compliance with the Florida law, the Collier County Canvassing Board will conduct a manual audit of Election results at the Supervisor of Elections Office on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. The manual audit is open for public observation.
The audit requires that the Canvassing Board randomly select one contest and one precinct to be manually audited. The randomly selected contest and precinct to be audited is the 24-7 Walk-In Clinic Referendum (Marco Island), Precinct 190 – the Marco Presbyterian Church, 875 W Elkcam Circle, Marco Island.
