NAPLES, FL – If you have not voted, tomorrow, August 14th is Election Day and your last opportunity to do so. On Election Day, the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and voters MUST vote at their assigned precinct as indicated on their voter information card. Visit www.CollierVotes.com for directions and a photo of the polling site.
Voters must provide both a photo and signature ID at the poll. Acceptable forms of ID include a Florida driver license, DMV issued Florida ID card, U.S. Passport, debit or credit card, military ID, student ID, retirement center ID, neighborhood association ID or public assistance ID. If a photo ID does not include a voter’s signature, the voter will be required to provide an additional form of ID that provides the voter’s signature. If you received an absentee ballot and decide to vote at your precinct, bring your absentee ballot along so it may be cancelled.
If you are voting by mail/absentee ballot, completed ballots MUST be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7:00 p.m. to be counted. Mail/absentee ballots may be hand delivered to the Supervisor of Elections Office until 7:00 p.m. or to the satellite office at the North Collier Government Services Center (next to Collier County Headquarters Library) until 6:00 p.m. Mail/absentee ballots may NOT be dropped off at a polling site or any other location.
